KIRO (Seattle Sports) Seattle announces the return of the "Brock & Salk" show, weekdays from 6-10am beginning Tuesday, September 6. The duo previously aired on Seattle Sports from April, 2009 to September, 2019, and transitioned to a weekly podcast shortly thereafter.

"I am thrilled to come back on the air with Mike Salk, though I feel like I never left," said Huard. "My heart and passion are for the Pacific Northwest community, its teams, and its fans. On September 6 that daily connection begins again."

"At Seattle Sports we aim to be the preeminent voice for sports fans in the region," said Seattle Sports Program Director Kyle Brown. "The return of Brock Huard to an already strong weekday line-up helps cement our status as the go-to destination for sports coverage in the Pacific Northwest."

A Puyallup native and University of Washington graduate, Huard earned numerous accolades as a football standout, culminating with his selection as the Gatorade Circle of Champions National Player of the Year. The Seattle Seahawks drafted Brock in the third round of the 1999 National Football League draft, and he spent the first three years of his professional career with the Seahawks before playing for the Indianapolis Colts. He rejoined the Seahawks in 2004 and ended his career that season. Brock is also a national college football broadcaster for FOX.

With over a decade of experience with the station, Salk helped launch Seattle Sports (formerly 710 ESPN Seattle) in 2009 and has served as both a morning show host and then Program Director for Seattle Sports since the station's inception. He also worked nationally as a host for ESPN Radio. Before his career in broadcasting, Salk, a graduate of Pomona College, worked as a political consultant/lobbyist in Los Angeles. He has recently served on the boards of the Seattle Sports Commission and Lifewire, a non-profit focused on domestic violence prevention.
