WMMR-FM/Philadelphia afternoon host Paul Jaxon is out after nearly 20 years with the Beasley Rock outlet. Several other staffers are out in what's being called a cost-cutting move. Prior to joining the Greater Media Rock outlet in September, 2004, Jaxon's on-air stints included WHJY-FM/Providence, KBPI-FM/Denver and WFNX-FM/Boston.

In a Facebook post on Wednesday, Jaxon wrote that he had been caught up in "corporate cuts," adding that it was "just part of the biz and the economy."
