WYEP-FM/Pittsburgh, a non-profit community AAA station, adds its newest radio show. "More Bounce with Clara Kent" debuts on February 24 and will air every Friday from 6-8pm. Kent is an Afro-Indigenous multidisciplinary artist and community liaison from Homewood, PA. The self-proclaimed "Multidimensional Artistic Individual" was named Pittsburgh City Paper's "Person of the Year" for Music in 2019 and has performed across many stages including opening for Wyclef Jean at SXSW, Cautious Clay at the WYEP Summer Music Festival and for Thundercat at Stage AE in Pittsburgh.

"Clara is a creative force in our local music and arts scene and we're thrilled to put More Bounce with Clara Kent on the air," said WYEP Program Director Liz Felix. "She's also a mentor and connector for many up-and-coming musicians in Pittsburgh, which fits perfectly with WYEP's mission to support and grow the diverse music ecosystem in the Southwestern Pennsylvania region."

The program will celebrate music and culture from the African Diaspora with the latest and the greatest in Alt R&B, Neo Soul, Funk, Afro-Beat, Reggae, Hip-Hop and more. It will also highlight up & coming artists with its "Elevate the Underground" slot at the top of the second hour.

"I see artists all the time that have such great potential and they aren't being given a chance because they're local artists," shared Kent. "I am happy to join the WYEP team to help add to their efforts to highlight what the best of the Pittsburgh region has to offer music fans," said Kent, "plus I want our listeners to get excited about hearing new waves of music when it comes out."
