Beasley Media relocates Kathy Romano's radio show, "Her Story," from Adult Hits WBEN (95.7 BEN FM) to Rock WMMR-FM in Philadelphia, starting Sunday, March 3 at 7am. "Her Story" illuminates the narratives of women catalyzing tangible change in their communities and beyond. Originally launched on BEN-FM in February, 2017, this weekly spotlight has a new home on WMMR-FM.

Romano has been a cornerstone of the Preston & Steve Show since 2003, transitioning to WMMR in 2005. Alongside her role as a co-host on WMMR's morning show, Romano is the creative force behind "Her Story" and the visionary behind the Fresh Smiles Foundation, dedicated to the lives of underprivileged children through organized activities.

Beyond her media endeavors, Romano serves as a board member for the Philadelphia Police Foundation and has played a pivotal role in fundraising for the M. Night Shyamalan Foundation's flagship event, "Shyamaween." Notably, Romano spearheaded WMMR's Kathy's Cuts initiative, driving over 1000 hair donations for children undergoing medical treatments like chemotherapy through "Wigs for Kids."

"Everyone has a story to tell, and I am privileged to share the extraordinary journeys of these women with our listeners each week," said Romano. "While I cherished my time at BEN-FM, I am incredibly excited to amplify these incredible stories on the vibrant platform of WMMR."
