Ben Campbell joins WOMC-FM in Detroit as morning co-host, joining JoAnne Purtan and Jason Raithel on "Joanne, Jason and Ben," weekdays from 6-10am ET. Most recently, he hosted mornings at KNIX in Phoenix alongside Matt McAllister beginning in 2007. The duo won an Academy of Country Music Award for "Major Market Personality of the Year" in 2009 and a Country Music Association Award for "Major Market Personality of the Year" in 2015.

"We're delighted to welcome Ben to WOMC and look forward to him teaming up with JoAnne and Jason," said Audacy Country Format Vice President and WOMC Brand Manager Tim Roberts. "We're sure listeners will quickly see Ben as a welcomed addition to their morning routines."

"I'm super excited to join JoAnne and Jason and the WOMC morning show," added Campbell. "WOMC is an iconic brand in Detroit, playing my favorite music, and working with Debbie Kenyon and Tim Roberts is a perfect winning environment."

Campbell's radio career started in Knoxville at WIVK-FM with an overnight weekend shift before co-hosting mornings at WWYC in Lexington, KY, in 1994. Campbell moved to KMLE-FM in Phoenix, AZ, in 1996, where he won a Country Music Association Award for "Major Market Personality of the Year" in 1998. In 2002, Campbell moved to WMZQ in Washington, DC and also hosted a syndicated countdown show, "Ben and Brian's Big Top 20 Countdown," which aired on over 100 stations.
