WBZ-FM/Boston Names Tim McKone as Headline Anchor, Co-host

Tim McKone is named the new headline anchor and co-host on WBZ (98.5 The Sports Hub)/Boston's "Zolak & Bertrand" Show, effective immediately. He replaces Rob "Hardy" Poole, who moved to mornings with Fred Toucher on the station in January. McKone has been a part-time on-air personality at the Sports Hub since 2013.

In addition to co-hosting and providing headlines on all weekday and weekend shows across the station, he has served as studio host for the Celtics and Bruins radio broadcasts. He previously worked as a sports reporter/anchor for NBC-10 in Rhode Island, and most recently, was a sports producer for Spectrum News 1.

An avid runner, McKone has run the Boston Marathon and multiple Chicago Marathons.
