Cumulus Media appoints Sean "Mac" McNally as afternoon host for Country WIVK-FM in Knoxville, TN. He debuts on Monday, June 24 and can be heard weekdays from 3-7pm. A passionate Country music lover, McNally joined the WIVK on-air team in 2016. He started his radio career in 2008 in his hometown of Richmond, IN, and was heard on-air in Chattanooga, TN, prior to signing on to WIVK.

McNally steps into the role previously held by longtime Knoxville Country radio favorite, "Your Cowboy Pal, Gunner," who announced his retirement from radio earlier this year. Gunner is PM drive veteran of almost 30 years, with the last 25 years on WIVK.

Cumulus Knoxville Operations Manager Jeff Jarnigan said, "The fact that Gunner, who has dominated the landscape in PM Drive here for many years, heavily endorsed Mac as his replacement says a lot about Mac. Gunner loves his audience and wanted to make sure it was in the best possible hands moving into the future. Mac loves East Tennessee and I have no doubt East Tennessee will love him right back."

WIVK-FM Program Director Rich Bailey added, "Mac and I have worked together since 2019. I've been impressed with his talent and work ethic over the past five years, and I look forward to working with Mac as he builds on the incredible success of Gunner."

McNally commented, "I couldn't be more excited and honored to take the afternoon reins at the legendary WIVK. It's truly a dream come true for me to be a part of this iconic brand. And to follow a friend and legend like Gunner on the station means the world."
