Midwest Communications taps Deanna Marie for nights on AC WJXA (Mix 92.9) in Nashville, effective July 15. She was previously part of mornings at CHR KLCA in Reno, NV. From there Marie became the host of "Deanna and Justin in the Morning" at WJBR (Mix 99.5) in Wilmington, DE. Most recently, she hosted weekends and swing shifts at two legendary Philadelphia outlets Active Rock WMMR and Classic Rock WMGK, as well as AC Magic 98.3 in Somerset, NJ.

"We took our time with the search and found the perfect person to take nights to the next level," said Operations Manager Barbara Bridges. "She's the right fit for our audience and her warm upbeat delivery and talent for connecting to the target audience will be an ideal complement to our successful brand."
