Alpha Media Confirms Layoffs in Bakersfield

Alpha Media Group operates four stations in Bakersfield has confirmed layoffs to KBAK-TV. The stations impacted are Oldies KKBB-FM (Groove 99.3), News/Talk KNZR-AM & FM and CHR KLLY-FM (Energy 95.3). Eyewitness News reports that Market Manager Jeremy Price confirmed the layoffs, but did not say how many were let go. After viewing the stations' websites, Eyewitness News could not find any local air talent listed, but only syndicated shows.
