Rumba 106.1 Names Johanny Rodriguez as Midday Host

Johanny Rodriguez is named the new midday host for Spanish Hits WUMR-FM (Rumba 106.1) in Philadelphia. She'll air Monday through Saturday from 10am-2pm, effective immediately. Rodriguez joins Rumba from Ritmo 98.5 FM & 104.1 FM in Trenton, NJ, where she served as an air personality. Rodriguez is a 10-year radio host and journalist and succeeds Jessie Dee, who moves to nights replacing Larry "Yako" Calderon, who is now Program Director for WHYI (Y100) in Miami.
"Rumba 106.1 is thrilled to welcome Johanny to our lineup," said Jonathan Tineo, also known as "DeeJay Jonathan," Program Director and air personality for Rumba 106.1. "She brings a unique warmth and a deep connection to the community that will enhance our station's connection to our listeners."
