KNWS-FM (Life 101.9) in Waterloo, IA afternoon host and Production Director David A. Dein will step into the morning show slot beginning this week. Before joining the station in May, 2021 he served as Imaging Producer at The Lighthouse Radio Network. Prior to that, Dein was Assistant Program Director at WAWZ (Star 99.1 FM) in Middlesex.

"I have a heart to see heaven stuffed with people," said Dein. "So every morning I'll strive to share stories that drive people to be passionate and driven to share Jesus with others. Getting to bring that energy and mission to the mornings here at Life 101.9 is an honor. We're going to continue to laugh, smile, and I hope when people turn on their radios that they have an uplifting day no matter what that day brings."

"David is a phenomenal talent with a huge heart for letting people know they are loved by God," added Life 101.9 Program Director Jessie Browning. "I know he's going to do a great job connecting with listeners and encouraging them every morning."

Concurrently, Browning will move from her current midday post to host the afternoon show.
