Amy Paige, who has hosted middays on WKDF since January 2022, is set to move to 95.5 WSM-FM, effective Tuesday, September 3. Paige is a familiar voice in Nashville, having previously spent nine years at iHeartMedia's WSIX-FM (The Big 98) from 2011 to 2020. Her resume also includes national exposure on SiriusXM's "The Highway," along with previous stints at 98.7 WMZQ Washington DC, Hot AC WRQX (Mix 107.3) in DC, WYNY (Y107) in New York, and Alternative WDRE in Garden City NY.
On Facebook, Paige shared the news, writing: "Spent the last 3 1/2 years on 103-3 Country. It's time for a change. Joining my friends down the hall on @955WSM on Tuesday, September 3."
Taking her place at WKDF is Lucas Phelan, who had recently joined WSM-FM in June, following its relaunch and rebranding. Phelan, based in Atlanta at WKHX-FM (New Country 101.5), will now handle middays on 103.3 Country. Prior to his current role, he was PD and afternoon host at Audacy's KMNB (102.9 The Wolf) in Minneapolis and held a long tenure at iHeartMedia Minneapolis, where he rose to APD/MD and afternoon host at 101.3 KDWB. He also programmed Classic Hip-Hop Hot 102.5 and worked in Omaha and Kansas City.
The move comes as part of a broader overhaul of WSM-FM, which earlier this year added Big D & Bubba to mornings and Tyler Reese to afternoons -- both former WKDF hosts.
