SiriusXM will launch a limited-run channel devoted to Taylor Swift on Saturday, September 20, counting down to the October 3 release of her new studio album, "The Life of a Showgirl." The pop-up, titled "Taylor's Channel 13," will air 24/7 across North America and serve as a destination for music spanning Swift's 19-year career.
The channel will spotlight "The Life of a Showgirl" alongside hits and deep cuts from every era, including selections from her four Grammy Album of the Year winners, favorites from The Eras Tour, "From the Vault" tracks, live recordings and fan-driven moments.
On the channel's 13th day -- Friday, October 3 -- SiriusXM will play "The Life of a Showgirl" in full every other hour beginning at 12am ET to mark the album's release. Listeners will also hear fan-submitted stories and testimonials about Swift and her music throughout the run.
"Taylor Swift continues to not only dominate the music world, but also every aspect of pop culture," said Scott Greenstein, SiriusXM's president and chief content officer, adding that the channel offers fans a place "to connect in a way like never before" and celebrate the new album and Swift's full catalog.
