Katy Mitchel Moves to Mornings on KIMN-FM in Denver

KIMN (Mix 100)/Denver introduces a fresh lineup for its morning show, featuring midday host Katy Mitchel alongside Jeremy Padgett and producer Josh Griesemer. The newly titled "Jeremy, Katy & Josh In The Morning" marks the completion of a series of changes that started last month with the departure of longtime morning host Dom Testa, who transitioned to co-owned Classic Hits KXKL (Kool 105).

Mitchel began her tenure with KSE Media in 2022, initially serving as a weekend and fill-in host at both KIMN and KXKL. By April 2023, she had moved to a midday slot at KIMN. Mitchel's career in Denver started as a promotions assistant at Lincoln Financial Media, eventually leading to a position as an update anchor at Sports KKFN-FM (104.3 The Fan).

Mitchel's experience includes roles as Production Director and Music Director at Ingstad Family Media in Jamestown, ND, morning co-host and cluster Production Director at Country KKXK (94 Kix) in Montrose, CO, and midday host at MBC Grand Broadcasting Variety Hits KKVT (100.7 The Vault) in Grand Junction, CO, before returning to Denver.
