Meruelo Media inks a contract renewal with Angelica Vale at KLLI-FM (Cali 93.9) in Los Angeles through December, 2028. The Hollywood Walk of Fame star and morning host, known affectionately as La Vale, will continue to helm Cali 93.9 mornings. She will also work closely with Otto Padron, President & CEO of Meruelo Media and her husband, and Pio Ferro, Head of Audio Brands, on new initiatives designed to broaden the station's influence.

Starting her career in theater as a child in Mexico, Vale gained fame with her role in "La Fea Mas Bella," the Mexican adaptation of "Ugly Betty." Her work has extended across television, radio, film, and theater, earning her a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for her contributions to the industry.

Vale expressed her enthusiasm for radio, "It's where I learned how to truly connect with people. I am grateful for the continued support from the Meruelo Media family and our listeners, who make every show an enjoyable experience."

Luis Armona, Principal and Co-Founder of Meruelo Group, emphasized the significance of Vale's impact on the station's growth, "Extending our relationship with Angie, a key figure in Latin entertainment, is crucial for our ongoing expansion and success."

Pio Ferro highlighted the unique joy Vale brings to listeners, "Angie's creativity, humor, and undeniable talent are unmatched. She's the perfect start to the morning, offering laughter when it's most needed."

Beyond radio, Vale continues to engage in diverse entertainment projects.
