KTPK (Country 106-9) in Topeka Adds Rowdy Yates

Rowdy Yates joins the daily lineup on KTPK-FM (Country 106-9) in Topeka beginning Monday, March 31. Yates is no stranger to the market, or this frequency as his "Original Country Gold" is already a weekend mainstay. "Ridin' with Rowdy" will occupy the 7-12 midnight slot on the Alpha Media Country outlet and becomes the 65th daily affiliate of the SuiteRadio distributed program.

Yates was previously announced as an upcoming inductee to the Country Radio Hall of Fame and will be honored for his contributions to Country music and broadcasting this July.
