Karla Cantrell Returns to K95.5 in Tulsa for APD/Afternoons

Karla Cantrell is making her return to KWEN-FM (K95.5) in Tulsa, rejoining the station as Assistant Program Director and afternoon host. Cantrell previously served as Program Director for K95.5 for nine years before departing in 2013 for a programming position in Fargo, ND. She fills the role left vacant when Jenny Law transferred to sister KONO-FM and KCYY-FM (Y100) in San Antonio.

Cantrell returned to Tulsa in 2016 to lead programming efforts at KTGX-FM (106.1 The Twister), where she remained for eight years before being impacted by iHeartMedia's nationwide downsizing in August 2024.
