Rubber City Radio's Classic Rock 97.5 WONE-FM in Akron, OH, has parted ways with morning hosts Matt Spatz and Amanda Casey. The duo had been co-hosting the station's morning show since January 2021, following the retirement of longtime local radio veteran Jeff Kinzbach. Later that year, Spatz was promoted to Program Director.

This marked a return to WONE for both Spatz and Casey. Spatz's previous stint at the station ran from 1994 to 1997. He later held programming roles at several stations, including WROV in Roanoke, VA; WNCD and WAKZ in Youngstown; and WWIZ and WYFM, also in the Youngstown market. His most recent role before rejoining WONE was PD/morning host for WYFM (Y103) and PD for WWIZ (Rock 104, where he was officially named to the position in 2013.

Amanda Casey also previously worked at WONE from 2007 to 2010. She returned to Akron after hosting middays at Audacy's WQAL (Q104) in Cleveland from 2018 to 2020. Her earlier roles included Operations Manager and midday host at WQGR (Cougar 93.7) in North Madison, OH, and OM/PD at Carroll Media in Riverton, WY.

Rubber City Radio has not yet announced any plans for WONE's morning show or its programming leadership.
