Veteran Milwaukee radio personality Jon Adler is returning to local airwaves, joining Radio Milwaukee's WYMS (88Nine) as Assistant Program Director and weekday evening host. Starting Monday, Adler will be on the air from 6-10pm and will also helm a new Saturday request show, "Let's Hear It!," debuting August 2 from 10am-noon.
The AAA outlet also announced the return of Maggie Corry, who has been named deputy executive director. Corry previously served at Radio Milwaukee from 2016 to 2022, overseeing membership and development.
Radio Milwaukee Executive Director Jordan Lee said both hires bring a deep connection to the city and a shared commitment to community-driven content.
"The additions of Jon and Maggie clearly strengthen our leadership team and will further drive our community-focused storytelling and programming," Lee said. "Even better, both Jon and Maggie are well-known and committed to Milwaukee, and the diverse and growing audience we serve through 88Nine and HYFIN."
Adler, a University of Wisconsin graduate, is well known for his award-winning tenure as a morning show host in Milwaukee. Over his career, he has conducted more than 3,000 interviews with musicians, comedians, and actors, and has been recognized with over 20 Wisconsin Broadcasters Association honors, including Best Morning Show and Best Interview.
"Milwaukee is my home," Adler said. "My goal is to continue contributing to the local media landscape and expand Radio Milwaukee's influence in the community."
In his new role, Adler will also support music curation, community engagement, and the mentorship of on-air talent.
Corry returns to the organization after a three-year stretch consulting for nonprofits. In her new leadership role, she will work alongside Lee and Director of Strategy and Innovation Tarik Moody to help shape the future of both 88Nine and its sister platform, HYFIN.
"This is a homecoming for me," Corry said. "Since leaving Radio Milwaukee in 2022, I've been fortunate to work with nonprofits on sustainability and impact. Ultimately, my heart led me back to Radio Milwaukee where I can use the experience I gained to serve this great community and continue our impact."
