1210 WPHT Philadelphia has renewed morning host Nick Kayal under a new multi-year contract extension, keeping him in mornings. Kayal joined WPHT in 2022, stepping into mornings following a lineup shuffle that moved Rich Zeoli to afternoons. Before joining the Audacy Talk outlet, Kayal worked in Sports/Talk radio with stints in Nashville, Atlanta, and Philadelphia.

In a social media post announcing the extension, Kayal shared his enthusiasm about continuing with the station: "I am very excited to announce that I have signed a NEW, Multi-Year contract extension with Audacy to continue doing mornings in Philadelphia."

He went on to thank Brand Manager Greg Stocker and Audacy Philadelphia VP/Market Manager David Yadgaroff for their support in finalizing the deal, adding special appreciation for his listeners: "Last but not least, YOU, the audience! For trusting in me and tuning in every morning. We have set record ratings for 3 years, and it's because of your devotion."
