Local Storm Center has expanded its nationwide team of forecasters with the addition of Meteorologist Angie Kathleen and longtime broadcaster Bob Kucken. Both have already begun delivering weather updates to partner stations across the country.
Angie Kathleen joins the team with a lifelong passion for meteorology and a focus on making complex weather patterns easy for listeners to understand. She brings national experience from her time at Weatherology, where she recorded forecasts for stations coast to coast. Known for her mix of technical expertise, clear delivery, and calm presentation, she's equally at home tracking severe weather or breaking down long-range trends.
"Angie brings an energy and authenticity that fits our mission perfectly," said Johnny Caudle, Owner and Director of Operations at Local Storm Center. "Her enthusiasm for weather isn't just professional-it's personal."
Also joining the roster is industry veteran Bob Kucken, who brings more than 40 years of broadcast and weathercasting experience. Based at WRNR-AM & FM in Martinsburg, WV -- where he has served since 1986 -- Kucken will provide fill-in coverage.
"Bob's experience speaks for itself," Caudle added. "Whether it's a calm day or severe weather moving through, you can count on Bob to deliver accurate, professional updates that keep listeners informed."
