Beasley Media Group names Paul Kelly as the new morning host of Classic Rock 102.9 WMGK-FM, effective Monday, December 1 from 6-10am weekdays. A Philadelphia native, Kelly has been a familiar voice on WMGK since March 2019, serving as the station's reliable "designated hitter" for weekends, holidays, and fill-in shifts.

"This has been a dream come true - rocking in the same building I visited on my bike as a kid," Kelly said. "It's been amazing working alongside the personalities I grew up listening to - Matt Cord, Tony Harris, John DeBella, Debbi Calton, and Andre Gardner!"

Kelly began his radio career in 1989 at WZXL/Atlantic City and later held on-air and programming roles in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Scranton, and Poughkeepsie. His experience includes morning and afternoon drive hosting, Imaging/Production Director, and Program Director positions. In 2001, he joined Philadelphia-based Kelly Music Research, Inc. as Vice President and Operations Manager.

"Paul Kelly is the perfect fit to lead mornings at WMGK," said Beasley Philadelphia Vice President and Market Manager Paul Blake. "As a Philadelphia native who grew up listening to this station, he truly understands MGK's heritage."

Program Director Chuck Damico added, "Paul's deep Philadelphia roots, his lifelong love of classic rock, and the genuine connection he's built with our listeners make him the ideal choice for mornings on WMGK."
