After more than three years away from the Dallas-Fort Worth airwaves, Blake Powers has returned to the market, rejoining Cumulus Media with weekend and fill-in duties at Country stations KSCS (New Country 96.3) and KPLX (99.5 The Wolf).
Powers' return brings him back to a market where he spent nearly a decade on-air, with previous Dallas stops including 98.7 KLUV, 103.7 KVIL, and 94.9 KLTY. During his time away from North Texas, he held on-air roles in Las Vegas and Columbia, SC, and worked in several major Country markets, including Denver, Kansas City, and Pittsburgh.
"I'm home," Powers said, calling the move a return to both Dallas and Country radio. He credited Cumulus Media Dallas leadership and station management for facilitating his return, adding that the timing felt especially meaningful during the holiday season.
In addition to his Dallas on-air role, Powers continues to be heard nationally on Westwood One's Hot AC format, where he has been part of the network for six years. He is also accepting a limited number of voice-tracking opportunities across Hot AC, AC, Classic Hits, and Country formats.
