KZ106 Names Jeremy Loper as New Morning Host

WSKZ-FM (KZ106) Chattanooga announced that veteran rock radio host Jeremy Loper will join the Classic Rock outlet as host of The Loper Show, beginning January 12. Loper arrives from Nashville, where he most recently hosted mornings at WNRQ (105.9 The Rock). Prior to that, he spent 12 years in Columbus, OH, leading the Loper & Randi in the Morning on 99.7 The Blitz.
"Chattanooga is rock 'n roll, and KZ106 is one of the most respected rock stations in the country," Loper said. "This brand has history, attitude, and loyalty - everything that makes great radio matter. I'm fired up to wake this city up and be part of something legendary."
KZ106 Operations Manager and Program Director Scott Chase noted the significance of the change, calling it the station's first morning show transition in nearly three decades. "We wish John Boy and Billy a very happy retirement and can't wait for Chattanooga to meet Jeremy," Chase said. "He's talented, driven, and simply the right guy for this next chapter."
