KUPL (98.7 The Bull) in Portland will debut a new, locally focused morning show on Tuesday, January 20, featuring Jeff "JR" Ramsey, Jake Byron, and Mallory Santic.
The station says the new lineup is built around live, local engagement and is designed to reflect Portland's country music community. The show aims to connect listeners with the city, its music scene, and each other during weekday mornings.
Ramsey joins KUPL with experience in several major radio markets, including Nashville, Denver, Arizona, and another Portland market. He brings a veteran on-air background to the station's new morning offering.
Byron returns to 98.7 The Bull after more than a decade with the station. The move marks his return to morning radio, a daypart he previously hosted for many years in Portland.
Santic, a social media influencer and former contestant on Love Island, rounds out the team. Station management says she adds a digital-first perspective and a community-driven approach to the show.
