"Bucky & BK" Join 1300 The Zone Afternoons in Austin

iHeartMedia's Sports KVET (1300 The Zone), Austin's flagship radio station for University of Texas athletics, has added "Bucky & BK" show to its weekday lineup. The program will air from 5-7pm CT beginning Monday, February 2.

Hosted by former Texas Longhorns running backs coach Bucky Godbolt and veteran broadcaster Brad Kellner, "Bucky & BK" features fast-paced discussion focused on Texas football, UT athletics, and major stories across the sports landscape. The show brings an established audience and a strong local connection to 1300 The Zone's coverage of Longhorns sports.

"Bucky & BK is already a proven, fan-favorite show and we're thrilled to add it to The Zone's afternoon lineup," said Bryan Erickson, Program Director for 1300 The Zone. "Their credibility, insight, and deep UT ties further strengthen our coverage."

Kellner added that the duo is excited to reconnect with Austin listeners on the station, calling 1300 The Zone a cornerstone of the city's sports radio scene and saying they're eager to be back on the air each afternoon.
