JB & Sandy Return to Mornings on KVET Austin

iHeartMedia Austin's 98.1 KVET has launched "The JB and Sandy Morning Show," marking the return of longtime hosts JB Hager and Sandy McIlree to the station's weekday morning lineup. The program dеbuts immediately and will air from 6-10am CT.
The duo returns to mornings after more than a decade away, having last signed off in 2015 following an 18-year run in the market. Known for their humor, strong local ties and on-air chemistry, JB and Sandy reconnect with Central Texas listeners alongside co-host Tricia, a lifelong Austin resident who brings an added local perspective to the show.
iHeartMedia Austin President Christine Escobar said the show reflects the strength of Austin's local radio brands, noting the hosts' longstanding connection with the community and their family-friendly approach to mornings.
McIlree said joining KVET places the team among a legacy of Texas radio talent, while Hager described the return as "picking up the conversation right where we left off," emphasizing the show's deep relationship with Austin listeners.
