Longtime Miami air personality Doc Reno has exited iHeartMedia's Classic Rock WBGG-FM (BIG 105.9)/Miami after 24 years in afternoon drive. Reno had hosted afternoons on BIG 105.9 since joining the station in July, 2002. In addition to his local role, he has been heard nationally since 2009 as host of the syndicated late-night program "The Red Eye Rock Lounge" and as a host on iHeartRadio's Classic Rock Channel.
His work also included nights and late nights on iHeartMedia's WBIG-FM (BIG 100)/Washington, DC.
In a resume summarizing his career, Reno described hosting afternoons on BIG 105.9 as "the best job on the planet," adding, "Being on the air, there is no feeling in the world like it."
Reno is now seeking his next opportunity in radio and can be reached at 954-616-7556.
