Compass Media Networks has added another major affiliate for its syndicated weekend program "She's Country," with Mount Wilson Broadcasting's KKGO (Go Country 105) in Los Angeles joining the show's lineup. Beginning this week, She's Country will air Saturdays from 6-9pm on Go Country 105. The station joins more than 30 affiliates.
Hosted by Emily Harlan, the three-hour show celebrates the women of country music, featuring music from established stars and emerging artists, along with exclusive interviews, behind-the-scenes stories and conversations with female performers.
Saul Levine, Owner, President and General Manager of KKGO, said the program aligns with the station's commitment to supporting women in country music. "She's Country fulfills Go Country's mission to create equal opportunities for women to gain exposure for their songs and obtain the respect they deserve," Levine said.
Harlan called the addition of her hometown station a personal milestone. "Being born and raised in Southern California, I grew up listening to Go Country 105," she said. "To have She's Country on such a legendary station in my hometown is a dream come true. I am so thankful to Saul and the entire team at KKGO for believing in this show."
