Miranda Khan Joins KCMO for Afternoon Talk Show

KCMO (Talk Radio 95.7 FM) in Kansas City has named veteran broadcaster and Kansas City native Miranda Khan as host of a new weekday afternoon program, "Miranda's Right." The show launches Monday, September 14, and will air weekdays from 4-7pm, expanding KCMO's lineup of live and local programming. The program will focus on news, opinions and issues affecting the Kansas City community.

Khan most recently served as Lead Host and Executive Producer of "Special Report" on America's News Voice Network. Her previous television experience includes serving as a news anchor at WPTV NewsChannel 5 in West Palm Beach, FL, and as a host for Newsmax TV in Boynton Beach, FL.

A graduate of the University of Kansas with a bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism, Khan returns to her hometown after a career that has taken her to several markets around the country.

"Miranda is a smart, engaging voice who brings years of media experience and deep Kansas City roots, and she knows how to connect with listeners and drive meaningful conversations."

Khan said returning to Kansas City and joining KCMO represents a homecoming. "After a career that's taken me around the country, it feels pretty special to come home to the community that shaped me," she said. "I guess Dorothy had it right all along-there really is no place like home."
