Riley Couture Joins Lite 96 for Mornings

WLXT (Lite 96) in Traverse City/Petoskey, MI, has named Riley Couture co-host of "The Lite Breakfast Show," joining Mark Elliott beginning Monday, September 21. Couture arrives at the MacDonald Garber Broadcasting station with previous stops at Power 96.1 in Atlanta and "The Kane Show" in Washington, DC.

"My journey through radio has been filled with so many peaks and valleys, but through it all, morning radio has always been my passion," said Couture. "I've spent more than half of my adult life behind a microphone and I'm so excited to step into this next chapter as co-host of The Lite Breakfast Show alongside Mark Elliott."

MacDonald Garber Broadcasting Head of Programming Peter Garber said the company conducted an extensive search for Elliott's new co-host.

"My family and I are thrilled to welcome Riley to MGB," said Garber. "We feel extremely fortunate to have found someone with Riley's passion and talent to join Mark Elliott on The Breakfast Show. Elliott, who has been hosting the morning program solo, joked that he's "just happy to have someone to talk to every morning."
