Serina Perez has departed YEA Networks' syndicated "The Tino Cochino Radio" after nearly six years as co-host, marking a programming change for the nationally distributed radio show. Perez joined the program full-time in December 2020 following a decade with Audacy Phoenix, where she began as a promotions assistant before advancing into multiple on-air posts at CHR KALV-FM (Live 101.5) and Country KMLE-FM (107.9).

In a video announcing her departure, Perez expressed gratitude for the support she has received while acknowledging uncertainty about her next career move. "I don't know what this next chapter holds but I know how incredibly grateful I am for the people around me, the family and friends who continue to show up for me," Perez said. "I've received so many words of encouragement from people and leaders in this business that have meant more to me than they probably realize."

The show confirmed her exit in a social media statement, thanking Perez for her contributions and wishing her success in future endeavors. "Serina has been a huge part of this show and this journey for many years," the statement read. "We're incredibly grateful for everything she brought to the show - her energy, her personality, her contributions and the many laughs and memories we've shared along the way."

Host Tino Cochino also addressed the departure on-air, describing the decision as part of the program's continued evolution. "I feel extremely grateful for everything she contributed over the past six years," Cochino said. "We made really engaging radio and content, but as with everything chapters end and we have made the decision to move in a different direction with the show."
