Q101.9/San Antonio Flips the Switch to Holiday Music

iHeartMedia's KQXT-FM (Q101.9)/San Antonio will soon flip the switch and start playing all Christmas music. Beginning November 15 at 6pm, Q101.9 will broadcast around-the-clock festive music by Andy Williams, Mariah Carey, Nat King Cole and others leading into the holiday season. This year's Q101.9 Christmas music start will be coordinated with the launch of the Q the Whataburger Zoo Lights at the San Antonio Zoo to happen at the same moment. On-air personalities Murphy, Sam & Jodi, Jennie James, Robin Rock and Deanna Diaz will continue to host the station's programming.

"2019 proudly marks the 20th holiday season that Q101.9 has helped spread holiday joy and cheer across Central and South Texas," said Chuck Knight, Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia San Antonio.
