WASH-FM/Washington DC Flips the Switch to Holiday Music

iHeartMedia flips AC WASH-FM/Washington, DC to non-stop holiday music as "Washington's Official Christmas Music Station." Beginning Friday at 5pm, the station will switch to broadcast holiday classics by Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole and Bing Crosby as well as CHR favorites by Mariah Carey, Michael Buble and Kelly Clarkson. Air personalities Toby Knapp, Chilli Amar, Jenni Chase and Sabrina Conte will continue to host the station's programming.

"We are thrilled to be Washington, DC's official home for Christmas music once again," said WASH-FM Program Director Jill Kempton. "The 97.1 WASH-FM listeners look forward to Christmas programming every year and it's an honor to play a special part in our DMV listener's holiday traditions."
