AM 760 along with sister stations News 8 and 100.7 San Diego, hosted the annual "radiothon," a live broadcast featuring veterans' stories and interviews. The current total collected for the event was $1,195,330.00.
"We are profoundly moved by the extraordinary kindness of the 5,700+ people who donated during the Radiothon," said Warrior Foundation Freedom Station founder/CEO Sandy Lehmkuhler. "Americans from across the country gave so generously to make Christmas miracles happen for our ill and injured warriors, who are now going home to their families for the holidays. This gift will have an enormous impact on their morale during recovery and rehabilitation."
