Vinny Marino Joins WXKC-FM and WXKC-HD2/Erie as PD

Veteran radio programmer Vinny Marino is appointed Program Director for Cumulus AC WXKC-FM and Classic Hip Hop WXKC-FM-HD2/Erie, PA. He previously servered as an air personality for Classic Rock WWZY-FM (The Boss 107.1).Neptune, NJ. Marino has also worked as Assistant Program Director, Music Director and air talent for Active Rock WAXQ-FM/New York, as well as Modern AC WLUP-FM/Chicago.

Cumulus/Erie VP/Market Manager Chuck Poet said, "We are really excited to have Vinny join the Cumulus Erie team. Vinny's numerous media experiences in different forms of radio and other media make him the top choice to bring a fresh perspective to the entire Erie cluster."

Marino added, "It's a pleasure to finally be joining the Cumulus family. Erie is a great town with a great bunch of folks to work with - and since it's a mostly Italian community, I can still get fresh mozzarella."

Marino's other on-air posts include Classical WNCN and WQXR/New York, as well as ABC News Radio. Marino has also written and produced syndicated radio programs including "The Donny Osmond Radio Show." He holds a Master's degree in Media Studies from the College of Staten Island, where he has served as an Adjunct Professor in Media Studies and Radio Production.
