Savage Named to Board of Directors of the Presidio Trust

Cumulus Media's Westwood One radio and podcast host Michael Savage has been appointed by President Donald Trump to the board of directors of the Presidio Trust for a term expiring May 4, 2023. Along with the National Park Service, the Presidio Trust manages the Presidio of San Francisco, the former military fort that is now part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area.

Known primarily for his radio show and podcast "The Savage Nation," Savage also holds a doctorate in ethnobotanical research from the University of California and both a Master of Science in botany and a Master of Arts in anthropology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. The United Nations has recognized his research, which includes a master plan for greening the U.S. as well as work on Native American trial folk medicine.
