WUWM/Milwaukee Names Ele Ellis as New Content Manager

Ele Ellis is appointed the new Content Manager for NPR WUMW-FM (89.7)/Milwaukee, effective July 1. Ellis has spent nearly two decades working in public radio. Prior to joining WUMW, she was Program Director for WKSU-FM/Kent, OH. Previously, Ellis was Program Director for WNCW and Boise State Radio. In addition to her work with WKSU, she is on the board of directors for the Public Radio Programmers Association and worked as an adjunct professor at Kent State University, specializing in digital journalism.
"We are so pleased to have Ele join our WUWM team," said WUWM General Manager John Hess. "Her experience in public radio programming is a huge asset and will help position the station for the future."
