Devin Steel Exits iHeartMedia/Memphis After Almost 20 Years

Veteran Mid-South radio host and programmer Devin Steel is exiting iHeartMedia's WHRK-FM (K97)/Memphis after almost two decades with the company. Steel was named Operations Manager and Regional Programming Manager for then Clear Channel's seven-station cluster in Memphis in 2013 before rising to iHM/Memphis VP/Programming. He had been on-air host at WHRK since 2001 hosting weekdays from 3-7pm. Steel joined K-97 in 2001 from crosstown Flinn Broadcasting.
Steel is a native Memphian and has contributed to several community endeavors, including his own DJ Camp. So far, no replacement has been named.
