Radio One/Atlanta has announced the return of Veteran air personality Ryan Cameron to WAMJ-WUMJ (Majic 107.5/97.5). Cameron has been off the air for several months while recuperating from surgery but is set to return to the Atlanta airways on Monday, August 3 to host his show "Ryan Cameron Uncensored," which airs weekdays from 2-6pm.

"Because of Covid-19, protests and politics, it's been a challenging time for many of our listeners. Ryan's voice is needed now more than ever. We are extremely happy to welcome Ryan back behind the microphone to entertain and inform the ATL," said Radio One Atlanta Operation Manager Derek Harper.

Ryan has a message for the Atlanta radio market, "Dread it. Run from it. Destiny arrives all the same. Now it's here, or should I say, I am!"

"I want to thank everyone who has held down the show in his absence, especially Rashan Ali," said Regional VP Tim Davies. "Next week will be truly a homecoming and it will great to have Ryan back."

Born and raised in Atlanta, Cameron became known as the "Ryan King" and is a two-time Emmy Award Winner and member of the Georgia Radio Hall of Fame. He was ranked by Atlanta Magazine as one of the 45 Most Powerful People in the City of Atlanta and a voice to inspire, inform and entertain Atlanta for 25 plus years.
