Veteran Radio Programmer Mr. Ed Lambert Dead of Cancer

Sad to report death of legendary radio programmer Mr. Ed Lambert on September 22 following a long battle with cancer. His included programming stops at KHKS/Dallas, WZEE (Z104)/Madison, KWOD/Sacramento, as well as on-air stints at KDWB/Minneapolis. Most recently, Lambert was Operations Manager at Bend Radio Group in Bend, OR where he oversaw the five-station cluster along with Country KSJJ-FM.

Lambert is survived by his wife, April. Services will be in his hometown of Sacramento at St. Marys Cemetery, tentatively set for October, 1.
