Pacific Media Group's KPOI-FM (105.9 The Wave) has transformed its relaxing playlist of Soft and Modern Adult Contemporary music to Hawaii's Christmas favorites. The station will play long, festive music sets of all-holiday music for the community during the holiday season. Also, as the radio partner for the 2020 Make-A-Wish Hawaii's Jingle Rock Ride, The Wave will provide the soundtrack as fundraising participants visit the best local holiday light displays on Oahu on December 13.
Director of Programming Kelsey Yogi said, "Our growing listener base enjoys the positive, calming escape that The Wave provides," said Yogi. "The pandemic may have put a hold on many events but it won't stop us from celebrating cherished, holiday moments with our resilient community."
