More Fallout From "Toaster" Incident at 97 Rock/Buffalo


There has been more fallout from a March 24th incident on the Morning Bull show on Cumulus' WGRF 97 Rock in Buffalo. During the show that morning, show host Rob Lederman compared skin tones of Black women to the darkness settings on his toaster. He was immediately fired that same day.

Now morning show members Rich "Bull" Gaenzler and Chris Klein have been fired as well, along with program director John Hager. Hager was inducted into the Buffalo Broadcasters Hall of Fame in 2018. In a written statement Cumulus said: "Upon further consideration following the racist incident that occurred on The Morning Bull Show, we decided to terminate the whole morning show in addition to the Program Director."
