Tony Yip Named SVP/Sales for iHeart Miami/Ft. Lauderdale

iHeartMedia has named Tony Yip Senior Vice President of Sales for Miami/Fort Lauderdale, effective immediately. He will oversee advertising sales revenue for the market and report to Shari Gonzalez, Market President for iHeartMedia Miami/Fort Lauderdale.

"I am thrilled to be able to promote Tony to this position," said Gonzalez. "Tony has played an important role in leading our team and our two brands WMIA AND WHYI over the past eight years and now takes on the entire cluster for Miami Ft. Lauderdale. I am very confident that Tony will lead our team with continued and even higher levels of success for years to come."

Yip has worked in radio and media for over 30 years. Prior to being elevated to Senior Vice President of Sales, he most recently served as Vice President of Sales at iHeartMedia Miami/Ft. Lauderdale. He also served as General Sales Manager for Cox Media Group/Miami and Account Executive at Beasley Broadcast/Miami. He began his career as an intern at the age of 16 at WIOD-AM and is a graduate of the University of Florida.
