iHeart Pittsburgh Announces New Steelers Broadcast Team

iHeartMedia Pittsburgh's Steelers Radio Network announced today program line-up changes to its broadcast team, effective immediately. As part of the changes, Craig Wolfley, a former Steelers offensive lineman who has served as a sideline analyst on the Steelers game day broadcast since 2002, will join play-by-play announcer Bill Hillgrove in the broadcast booth as Color Analyst. Wolfley ascends to the position after Tunch Ilkin, who served in the role for the last 23 seasons, retired earlier this year.

"This is an incredible honor knowing the people who proceeded me in this seat and a lineage I hope I do justice to," said Wolfley. "I'm looking forward to working with an incredible team on Steelers broadcasts."

In addition, Max Starks, also a former Steelers offensive lineman, who won two Super Bowls with the team, will join Missi Matthews for sideline reports during the Steelers Game Broadcast. Starks has recently served as a sideline reporter for Westwood One on their NFL coverage. Starks will also contribute to Steelers-produced programming throughout the season.

"I am honored to be back on the Steelers sideline once again," said Starks. "I've traded in my helmet for a headset, and I'm excited to join the Steelers Radio Network and keep the Lineman tradition alive on the broadcasts!"

Also, Starks will join Wolfley as co-host of "In The Locker Room, Presented By Neighborhood Ford Store," a daily, in-season radio program airing in Pittsburgh locally on ESPN 970 and nationally on Steelers Nation Radio (SNR), the Steelers' official 24-hour digital audio station on iHeartRadio, between 10 a.m. - noon ET, Monday through Friday.

The entire broadcast team will also contribute to "The Point After, Presented By Parx Casino", a weekly program that airs the evening after Steelers games on WDVE-FM and SNR.
