WABC/New York elevates Matthew Meany to Assistant Program Director. He'll step into his new post immediately overseeing day-to-day operations, working alongside the programming team. Meany began is radio career at WABC in 2014 as a part-time board operator and quickly rose through the ranks. He took over as Executive Producer of the "Bernie & Sid Show," from 6-10am, over a year ago and has piloted the show to its best ratings.
"Matt's hand in the impressive growth of the morning show ratings and his desire to grow make this appointment an ideal match for him and the station," said Red Apple Media and 77 WABC Radio Senior Vice President of Programming Dave LaBrozzi.
