Audacy launches "Classic Live 105" on KITS-FM-HD2 in San Francisco. The station, which had served as the home for Alternative music in the Bay Area for 35 years, will return to feature hits from the 80s, 90s and 2000s, including classics from Depeche Mode, The Cure, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sublime, No Doubt, The Killers, Weezer and more. Classic Live 105 will also be available on the Audacy app and website.
"For over three decades, this station personified the expansive modern rock format, serving as a destination for Bay Area listeners to hear their favorite jams and discover new artists -- artists that today are carrying the format," said Audacy Senior Vice President of Programming and Alternative Format Captain Mike Kaplan. "We're so excited to launch this station on our digital platform and give our consumers across the country the opportunity to enjoy this iconic brand wherever they may be listening."
