After 10 years on terrestrial FM, multi-media personality and voice of Gen Z, Zach Sang is teaming with Amazon's new music service Amp, to relaunch Sang's music and talk show. The series will be produced by OBB Sound, the audio division of OBB Media, in association with FanMade Inc. In the newly launched format, Zang will host some of the biggest names in music and entertainment each week. Previous guests have included Ariana Grande, BTS, Lil Nas X, Shawn Mendes, Billie Eilish, Justin Bieber, Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus.
In 2021, the "Zach Sang Show" received over 30 million streams on YouTube and over 2 million podcast downloads. Stepping away from his Westwood One radio show, Zang's next step is to create a more social music and talk show designed for Gen-Z. He'll produce a daily show on Amazon's Amp, which will air live on the app between hours 3-6pm PT. In addition, Sang will release a premium interview-of-record as a weekly podcast.
Sang commented, "The democratization of content creation is what humans crave and what has shaped the TV and music industries of today. With Amazon's Amp, we're handing the people the power to create and take part in radio like they've never been able to before and is going to pave the way for the next generation of radio creators and listeners alike."
