iHeartMedia's KFAN-FM/Minneapolis air personality Dan Barreiro, host of "Bumper to Bumper with Dan Barreiro" and "Sunday Sermons with Dan Barreiro," was recently inducted into the Minnesota Broadcasting Hall of Fame. Born in Gary, IN, Barreiro was a sports columnist at the Star Tribune for 17 years, after spending time at the Dallas Morning News, Atlanta Journal Constitution and Louisville Courier-Journal. He joined KFAN in 1992.

"Dan epitomizes the make-up of a tremendous talk show in the Twin Cities," said iHeartMedia Minneapolis Market President Greg Alexander. "He puts together compelling interviews and has the ability to break down any and every topic to entertain our listeners. He is a true talent.

"There isn't a radio personality who has had the kind of ratings success over the last three decades than Dan Barreiro. He has done it by hosting intelligent, entertaining, and compelling radio," added iHeartMedia Minneapolis Senior Vice President of Programming Gregg Swedberg. "He's more than the 'Big Ticket,' he is the blueprint."

"Dan Barreiro has been the voice of Minnesota sports and big events for over 25 years on KFAN," said Program Director Chad Abbott. "His ratings dominance and social following proves how trusted he is as a respected voice for MN."

Barreiro is recognized as "The Big Ticket" due to long-time high ratings on 100.3 KFAN. "Bumper to Bumper with Dan Barreiro" airs weekdays from 3-6:30pm and "Sunday Sermons with Dan Barreiro" airs Sundays at 9-11am.
