GBS Promotes Paul Littleton to Chief Technology Officer

GeoBroadcast Solutions promotes Jean Paul Littleton, currently it's Head of Spectrum Design, to Chief Technology Officer. In this role, he'll oversee and continue the development GBS technologies, as it expands its capabilities in the broadcast industry. Littleton began at GBS in 2016, as a spectrum design engineer, coming from the National Public Radio Laboratory, where he was a technical research assistant.
"Paul has shown exemplary capabilities in the field of broadcast engineering and has improved our proprietary systems through his skills and leadership," said company spokesman Robert Udowitz. "In this elevated position, he will help set the technological direction of the company moving forward."
At GBS, Littleton's most recent work has included computing coverage maps and performing interference analysis, improving prediction modeling to optimize station signal coverage, and designing boosters for single frequency networks to fill in coverage areas of low signal levels.
He's a graduate of the University of Maryland College Park, A. James Clark School of Engineering, where he received an M.S. in Telecommunications, and a B.S. in Bioengineering.
